Welcome to BoxBode.com!

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the BoxBode.com website (“the Site”) and the BoxBode App / Service as launched from BoxBode.com (“the App”), operated by Bright Gate Digital (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.


1. Acceptable Use of the Site

  • The Site and the App are provided solely for booking stays and related services. You agree not to use the Site for research, malicious activities, investigative purposes, or any other improper activities.

  • If you wish to write an article or story about BoxBode.com, you must notify us by logging in and submitting a message stating your intention.

  • You accept that BoxBode.com is a new platform, seeking great outcomes for our hosts and users. Initially, we are setting some example listings with an ending / suffix of (EG) in the “Stay Title”, and you accept that the BoxBode.com team has undertaken this to provide “example” listings only and these are not representative of actual stays.

2. Vendor/Host and User Responsibilities

  • Vendors and Hosts (“Hosts”) indemnify BoxBode.com from any claims, liabilities, damages, or losses arising out of their use of the Site, including interactions with guests. This indemnification applies to all claims related to both the use of the Site and guests hosted via the BoxBode App.

  • Guests and Users (“Users”) also agree to indemnify BoxBode.com from any and all liabilities, claims, damages, or losses arising from their use of the Site or their experiences and interactions with Hosts.

  • Hosts are required to accurately represent their property listings, including features, amenities, and availability. Hosts must ensure that the listing is truthful and meets the standards expected by Users.

  • Users and Hosts must maintain professionalism and decency in all communications, both with each other and with the BoxBode.com team.

3. Payment Processing and Payouts

  • BoxBode.com uses PayPal as the payment processor for all transactions. Hosts understand that payouts will be made via PayPal and are responsible for ensuring their PayPal account is accurately linked.

  • Hosts will receive their earned revenue the day after a guest checks in to ensure guest security. No payments will be made prior to check-in.

  • Guests are not entitled to request refunds from BoxBode.com once a booking has been confirmed by the Host. Hosts have 72 hours to accept or reject a booking. If a Host rejects or fails to accept the booking within 72 hours, BoxBode.com will automatically refund the Guest.

4. Errors and Booking Acceptance

  • While we strive to ensure error-free processes, we acknowledge that errors may occasionally occur. Hosts agree to accept reasonable losses resulting from such errors and will not seek compensation beyond what is reasonably expected.

  • Once a booking has been accepted, Hosts are responsible for fulfilling the booking, and Users are responsible for adhering to the agreed terms.

5. Password Security

  • The passwords of both Users and Hosts are encrypted to ensure privacy and security. It is your responsibility to keep your login credentials safe and secure.

6. No Refund Policy for Confirmed Bookings

  • Guests understand that once a booking has been confirmed, no refunds will be provided by BoxBode.com. The booking becomes binding, and Hosts have 72 hours to confirm or reject any booking requests.

7. Removal and Suspension of Users

  • BoxBode.com reserves the right to remove or suspend any User or Host from the platform at its discretion. This may be for a breach of these Terms, inappropriate behavior, or any other reason we deem necessary. Such removal or suspension may also include prohibiting future use of the Site and App.

8. Listing Obligations for Hosts

  • Hosts must ensure that all information regarding their property or listing is accurate, including amenities and features offered. Any misrepresentation may result in removal from the Site.

9. Communication Standards

  • Users and Hosts must communicate with one another and with BoxBode.com staff in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner at all times.

10. Changes to These Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. By continuing to use the Site after changes are made, you accept the new version of these Terms. The latest update date will always be displayed at the top of this page. Please check back regularly to stay informed.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • BoxBode.com will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Site or App, including, but not limited to, any issues related to listings, bookings, or interactions between Users and Hosts.

  • Hosts agree that they are solely responsible for the quality of their listings and the experience of Users at their properties. BoxBode.com takes no responsibility for the condition of properties or any issues that may arise during a stay.

12. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the United States.
